Andrey Khutorskoy, Doctor of
Education, Full member of International Academy of Pedagogics.
His research focus on heuristic type of education as well as its
distant forms. The author of more than 270 publications on
education problems, Director of methodological seminars.
Andrey Khutorskoy has developed conception of Russian Cosmism
pedagogic, heuristic technologies in a didactic system of
education, provided his conception for schools of
learner-centered orientation.
Also, he has developed and organized International Heuristic
Olympiad via Internet, which is a great success with creative
schools and students all over the world. He is a Head of
Distance Education Center "Eidos", Moscow.
He has published a variety of research articles in Russian and
foreign journals for distance education, focusing on the
problems of students creative learning with the hepl of the vast
opportunities of telecommunication technologies.
Andrey Khutorskoy researches into problems, which deal with
distance education in Russia, organizes scientific activities
for developing and realization of telecommunication technologies
in higher education in Russia and the countries of the former
SU, helps school administrators to include distance learning
forms in their curriculum.
