IX Distance Heuristic Olympiad of the English Language

Aims and Purposes of the
Olympiad:
1. The main purpose of the heuristic Olympiad is to help
students to show their own creative abilities via e-mail. The
students make out their own versions, discoveries,
compositions, researches, investigations in the English
language.
2. Give the opportunity to the students to know distant form of
learning.
3. Communications between students of different countries.
Olympiad Tasks:
The Olympiad tasks are open, the students are not expected
to copy out the known answers from books or other sources. The
Olympiad participants are to make their answers, to reveal a
sense of surrounding phenomena and produce self-knowledge.
Awards:
The winners are awarded with the
Diplomas of Center Eidos.
How to take part in the Olympiad:
1. The participants can be both individuals and organized school
or club groups of students.
2. To take part in the Olympiad you should send an application
form no later than Jan. 24, 2007 to the Olympiad Committee:olymp@eidos.ru
3. After receiving your application
form the Olympiad Committee will send you data of the Center
account or Web Money regulations to pay registration fee.

Application Form of the Participant:
1. Student’s name (First Name, Surname).
2. F/M.
3. Form, School, City, Country.
4. E-mail for receiving Olympiad tasks and the results.
5. Name, E-mail and Phone of local coordinator (teacher).
Financing of the Olympiad.
The Olympiad is financed by Center Eidos and the fees of the participants.
Registration Fees:
1. Individuals (1-9 students) pay fee 9.95USD, or 7.55EUR, or
5GBR for each person.
2. A group of students (no less than 10 people) pay fee 6.75USD,
or 5EUR, or 3,5GBR for
each person.
